We Remember...

More than 150 Placer County Veterans of Japanese Ancestry served in WW II, which resulted in construction of a Memorial to Japanese Americans now installed at the Santucci Justice Center in Roseville, CA. The County of Placer and the Placer JACL Chapter collaborated to complete this Memorial, which was dedicated in 2013.

With your support and donations, we will install additional educational material to complete the Memorial later this year.

This permanent monument was funded through donations.

We are proud to honor all those who served in the 442nd RCT/ 100th Battalion and the Military Intelligence Service, as well as those individuals and families of Japanese ancestry who were forced into internment camps during World War II. We are developing educational materials to inform visitors and students of all ages.
